Promote Your Blog Here

If you are a follower of my Blog (new or old), please promote your Blog by putting your Blog address in a comment below along with a brief description of what your Blog is about. Let readers know why they should visit you and what they will find when they do.

If you post below, please consider visiting some or all of the other Blogs listed.

Also, consider reblogging or sharing this post to get your readers involved and connected as well.

I stole this idea from MakeItUltra™, who recently posted a subscriber promotion (click HERE for link) that really took off and appears to have helped a lot of bloggers connect. My Blog picked up a large number of new followers by simply posting a blog description on his link and by visiting some of the other Blogs listed in the comments. So, please visit his post, follow his Blog, and link up your Blog for others to find.

Because my readership is likely quite different than MakeItUltra™, I would like to try the same thing here.

Thanks, and enjoy!

  1. This is a cool idea! My name is Squid and I blog at steagarden.wordpress.com on a large variety of topics. I used to post a lot more pictures, but now I mainly just link people to my Flickr page. Some of the topics I post about are math, my family, God, and random poetry, but things change so who knows what you’ll get. I hope you’ll come and check it out!

      1. Aw, thank you! That’s a pretty good summary of me, I suppose. 🙂
Yup! Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn, and if they’re clean, (which was a long time ago for my pair, lol) I have no qualms with pairing them with something fancy! 😀

  2. Cool idea! Thanks for helping us all connect. My blog is Skipping Stones. I post my Weekly Message (from Sunday’ services) at the beginning of every week and one Writing (a reflection on the presence of God in my life or in life around me) at the end of every week. My last post was about an unexpected encounter at a drive-thru and what I learned about the influencing power of words. It was entitled, Hurts Like Hail. Thanks!! I really enjoy your posts!

      1. NI2S, thanks for visiting my page and checking out my latest post. One of the things I have enjoyed so much about WP is the strong sense of community. I know there are some trulls out there, but my experience (so far) is the WP is full of supportive and encouraging people. Thanks for being one of them! Blessings to you on your journey!

  3. Great idea! I am blogging as a new adventure in my life. I cover many topics, but mostly about life in America, some humor, and some serious topics. Primarily my blog is to connect with others of similar interest and provide some good conversation. I look forward to hearing from you!

  4. I feel like little Cindy Lou Who, crying out, “I am here, I am here, I am here!”.

I post my thoughts and observations on TheViewFrom5022.com . First and foremost, I try to encourage people to follow the second commandment of Jesus:. to love one’s neighbor; who is one’s neighbor? Everybody else!

    I also post photography on ZenViews.me .

Now, I will go back and check out a few hundred of the websites listed above. Thank you, Daddy.

      1. Great. Now I’m following about 243 more bloggers than I was yesterday….as if I didn’t already have too much to do feeding my birds and squirrels, watering my flowers, tending to my neighbor, toodling around the countryside in my little blue wonder car, … Now I have all this reading and commenting to do… And think of all the writing prompts that will come to me! When am I going to rest?

…bless you, dear. Good work, this.

  5. Excellent idea! What a way to spread kindness! Not sure if you’ve seen my blog (I haven’t been blogging for long, maybe about a year): https://blessedmomentsnmemories.com/

It’s about following God in a world that is not so kind toward that, marriage to my best friend, and being blessed as the mother of 8 wonderful children. It’s a live and learn process that we put our whole hearts into. Please stop by anytime.

  7. My Life in Dog Years @ http://www.lifeindogyears.com
Hey y’all! My blog is about my life…living with type 1 diabetes for over 40 years, homeschooling my now-grown sons, tending my marriage of 30+ years while dealing with the depression & despair of the dark secret that plagued my husband and I for most of those 3 decades…you will find a link at the top of my blog to the story of our recent healing & miraculously restored relationship.
I like to think I have, not a “diabetic blog”, but a blog about life by a person with diabetes. It doesn’t define me, but it affects and colors my life.
The D and me, we’ve agreed to disagree, so to speak. 😜
Diabetes is not a death sentence, but a challenge…to which I say, “Bring it!” 💪🏼😀👍🏼
Come visit me and leave a like or comment, please! I love interacting with my visitors!
(Thanks for this awesome opportunity to share & discover new blogs/friends!)

  8. I love reading all of these. Talk about a great way to “meet” other writers. Very creative! Thank you for doing this. 🙂

Before I started blogging, I told a friend I’d never have a blog. Then, after a totally unexpected hospital stay last September, I felt led to start my blog. So, I jumped over the fear of putting my writing “out there” and did it!

I write about my Iowa roots, life’s journeys, and little bits of this and that.

      1. Hi there! Wow! Thank you SO much! I love that you said “It is clean. Very readable!” That’s really awesome. 🙂 And, it is first time I’ve heard that. I appreciate it! Thank you for following my blog.

I read your story “Hurts Like Hail”. One thing I love about it is, it is very relatable. A lot of people go to drive thru’s, and I’m guessing a lot have “sat” in your seat that night. Your lesson is so important. We never really know what someone’s day or life has been like. I like the idea of meeting every-one with a handful of understanding, even though… Can’t wait to read more of your work.

    1. Love your Lego challenges. Consider having people post their own creations based on your challenge in your comment thread. They can add simple html code in your comment as follows: <img src=”insert_image_url/”>

When the comment is posted, it will look like this:

        1. I saw the request to add links and facebook posts. I just suggested giving the reader instructions for including the image directly in the comment thread (not just a link) by inserting the simple html code I listed above. Just a suggestion. Love the concept and request for user interaction.

  9. What a fab way to connect- loving finding new blogs here.
This is mine where I’m getting more confident to post about how God speaks to me and what He says. I particular want to explore what our beliefs and revelations look like in everyday like so we embody the sacred story not just study it!

      1. That’s awesome, thank you! What age are your boys? The books target a slightly older reader; I teach 10-18 year olds, and when my students have asked about it I’ve suggested it to more mature 13 years olds, or 14 and above. I so enjoy your blog, by the way! Thanks for the great writing. 🙂

  10. I love finding new blogs and new ways to connect! Thanks for the opportunity. Mine site is http://www.girlsinthepark.com and it is a nature/hiking blog I started with my now 9-year old daughter as a way to preserve the fun memories of our outdoor adventures, but also as a means of encouraging parents to get outdoors more often with their kids. The connection to nature is so essential to our well-being and as a parent and a teacher, it something I want to promote in any way I can.

  11. You can find me at https://jeffreyhking.wordpress.com/. I write on various topics, always from a Christian perspective. Generally, there are personal anecdotes, random thoughts, how science and history help us understand the Bible better, and responses to news articles. I’ve also reviewed a few books I’ve found VERY helpful in building my understanding about God and the world He’s given us.

  12. Wow, so many great reads here. I’ll be slowly working my way from the top down and reading each and everyone:). My blog is https://virosite.wordpress.com. It mostly consists of me trying to unravel my thoughts about Biblical principles, and attempting to make sense of what God whispers into my life from time to time. English is my third language so excuse the errors in grammar and spelling. My writing is greatly influenced by my culture (a small island in the SW Pacific Ocean). Thanks Daddyblitz for granting me this chance to venture out into the Interesting, informative & diverse world of blogging.

      1. Jesykahrc! You’re one of the first people to say that in my 4 months of blogging! You blew my mind with that comment of yours! Thank you…sooooo much. You don’t know how thankfully I really am. But this helps me to continue my lifetime dream career. I’m only 16, and I’m really surprised that blogging is going very well! I mean this is my passion to write and to reach to people’s thoughts and emotions. To me that’s my best thing I could ever achieve as a writer. I’m not trying to get into your personal information, but if not classified, could you tell me a little about yourself? It’s okay if you’re not comfortable 🙂 I’m just super encouraged by your small but impacted comment. Thank you. 🙂 so much. 🙂

    1. Greg, I haven’t had a chance to read any posts but made sure to follow you and I look forward to seeing them in my reader. I believe our lack of discussion on doctrinal truth is the biggest problem facing today’s church.

My blog is the record of my personal journey with Jesus. This is nothing new, of course, but mine is quite different. I explained why in my home page at:

I’m a new blogger, and am just starting out to discover this wonderful WordPress community. So I’ll appreciate much any new visits I get! Thanks in advance!

  18. My blog can be found at: http://reflectionsonchristianliving.org

Blog is about the meandering pondering that I do when I reflect on the challenges and shared opportunities and experiences we may have walking a staggering journey as Christians living in today’s world. I’m not a frequent writer yet, (Part of being an introvert). I hope to get better in both frequency and content. If you visit I would love suggestions. I am trying to discover the navigation and how to better present and get comments etc.

Daddy Blitz: I loved your post on tips and it has helped me. I love this idea and will most certainly be checking out other blogs. Thank you so much.
